Pan de Muerto is a traditional Mexican bread, decorated with "bones", for the annual Day of the Dead celebration on November 1st & 2nd. This very soft and fluffy dough is scented with orange zest, anise seed, and orange blossom water, brushed with butter immediately out of the oven and topped with sugar. Makes a nice treat with Mexican hot chocolate! (Should you have any leftovers, Pan de Muerto makes excellent French toast!)
